PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The SZW-25-12VDC is a 12 Volt DC, 1” Stainless Steel, 2-way Solenoid Valve. This valve is compatible with a variety of media such as air, water, gas, diesel fuel, weak acids and glycol. The valve features a solid stainless steel body with a Viton seal. It is suitable for temperatures from 15°F up to 250°F. This valve requires 18 watts from a DC power source typical to that of a car battery.

This SZW-25-12VDC has no minimum pressure requirements and can operate up to 115PSI. This makes it ideal for gravity fed applications. The orifice size of the SZW-25-12VDC is 25mm allowing a higher flow rate when compared to other comparable solenoid valves.

The valve includes a 12 Volt DC coil that has a voltage tolerance of +-10%. This coil requires 18 watts or 1.5 amps to operate the valve. The coil has 5.5” lead wire connections for easy installation.

Installation: The coil has no polarity making power and ground interchangeable. There is an arrow indicating the direction of flow on the stainless valve body. Installed with the coil up is the preferred method however the valve will operate in any position. A pre-filter should be installed to prevent the valve from leaking caused by debris.
